Who Is Heath Jornales?
Heath Jornales is a Filipino actor and singer-songwriter and a talent of Sparkle GMA Artist Center. He first appeared in commercials at age nine and officially joined GMA Network in 2020.
For a few years he was a working child actor with supporting parts. That changed when he entered the PBB house in 2025, where his martial arts skills, guitar playing, and original songs reached a mainstream audience. Since then he has taken his first lead role, released music, and sold out fan events.
Heath Jornales Age, Birthday and Real Name
Heath Jornales was born on May 5, 2009. His birthday falls in early spring in the Northern Hemisphere, which makes him a Taurus. He turned 17 in May 2026, which means he was still 16 for most of his time in the Big Brother house.
That timing matters for context. Much of his early press coverage described him as one of the youngest “Kabataang Pinoy” housemates in the cast.
Heath Jornales Full Name vs. Michael Roy Jornales
His full name is Heath Michael Estrada Jornales, and he is also credited as Heath Michael Jornales. “Estrada” comes from his mother’s family name.
“Michael Roy Jornales” appears in many searches next to Heath’s name because it is his father’s name. Michael Roy is a Filipino actor, and the two are separate public figures. If you see Michael Roy’s name in a Heath Jornales article, it is almost certainly a family reference.
Heath Jornales Parents and Family
Heath comes from a family with deep roots in Philippine entertainment and martial arts. His parents have both worked in film and television, though in very different capacities.
Michael Roy Jornales: Father
His father is an actor, martial artist, and fight director who played Chikoy Rivera in Ang Probinsyano. Michael Roy started as a child actor and formed the band SAGIPBATA in 1996, serving as vocalist and lead guitarist.
That background shows up in Heath’s own interests. Michael said the two are very close and do almost everything together, including music, skating, and martial arts training. He also said he likely influenced Heath’s showbiz path by bringing him to set when he was younger.
Jemalene “Jem” Estrada: Mother
His mother, Jemalene “Jem” Estrada, is a former actress who appeared in the films Cool Dudes 24/7 (2001) and Crying Ladies (2003). She left the industry to focus on raising her family.
Public information about her is limited, which is how she appears to prefer it. Her role in his story is mostly told through what Heath and Michael Roy have said about family support.
Sisters Heather and Harah
Heath is the second of three siblings and the only son, with two sisters named Heather and Harah. Heather has also appeared as an aspirant on the talent show Star Hunt: The Grand Audition Show.
Early profiles often note that he enjoys spending time with his sisters. His father uses the nickname “Moymoy” for him in interviews, which fans picked up during the PBB season.
Early Life, Education and Martial Arts Background
Heath grew up in a household where martial arts were part of daily life. He has trained in taekwondo, Muay Thai, boxing, jiu-jitsu, arnis, and nunchaku, and he has said he would like to take on action roles. This training is why GMA brands him the “Fighting Prince of Taguig.”
On education, he completed junior high school at KeyEd Learning Center and later attended Grade 11 as a homeschooled student. Homeschooling gives him the schedule flexibility that a teenager balancing tapings, music releases, and concerts needs.
Outside martial arts, he plays guitar and is interested in drawing, animation, and stop-motion projects. He also enjoys skating, basketball, football, and badminton. He began writing songs at 13, which sets up the music career covered below.
Heath Jornales Career Timeline
This timeline shows how his roles stacked up, and it works as a quick reference for his credits.
From Guest Roles to Leading Man
His early GMA work was small but steady. He appeared in Pepito Manaloto as Buwie Tiangco and in Lolong as Niño, then played Gelo in Mga Batang Riles. His action background got its first proper showcase in that last role.
In Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre he played Caleb, son of Gov. Emil, who was played by the late Ricky Davao. After PBB, he appeared as Keith in Never Say Die, then landed his first lead role as Miguel Miraflor in You’re My Favorite Song.
Recent and Upcoming Projects
He later joined the action series Taskforce Firewall in a recurring role, and he was announced for the drama Hari ng Tondo. His guest spots include TiktoClock, Family Feud, and Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.
Two other milestones are worth noting:
• He won TAG Most Promising Male Star at the 6th TAG Victorious Awards Chicago in 2026.
• He and Caprice Cayetano were chosen as Fujifilm Philippines’ Instax squad for the Instax Mini 13 launch.
One small discrepancy: Wikipedia lists his years active as starting in 2024, while GMA says he signed with Sparkle in 2020 as a child actor. The difference likely reflects when he began appearing on screen versus when he signed.
Heath Jornales on Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0
Heath entered the house as one of the Kabataang Pinoy housemates, and he finished near the top. He became the only male Kapuso housemate to reach the Big 4 and was named Kapuso Second Big Placer with 24.25% of the public vote. He shared that placing with Kapamilya housemate Krystal Mejes, and Caprice Cayetano was the Kapuso Big Winner.
What set him apart inside the house was how much of his real self he brought. He performed original songs, which later fed directly into his EP. Fans also noticed small moments, such as the pancakes he cooked for Caprice, which helped fuel the pairing.
Heath Jornales Songs and EP
Music is now as much a part of his identity as acting. He began writing songs at 13 and released his self-titled EP in July 2026 under StarPop.
EP Track List
The EP reached No. 1 on the iTunes Philippines Albums chart, and Heath was trending on Apple Music at the time. His debut single “Back to You” passed one million streams in June 2026.
| Track | Notes |
| Back to You | Debut single, with a main and an acoustic version |
| Coffee Shop | Written in 2023 |
| Far Away | Original song |
| Promised Land | Also spelled “Promise Land” in some press |
| Ikaw Pa Rin Hanggang Ngayon | Original song |
| Summer Nights | Listed by Wikipedia but not in GMA’s track list |
The track list differs by source. GMA lists Back to You (main), Back to You (acoustic), Coffee Shop, Far Away, Promise Land, and Ikaw Pa Rin Hanggang Ngayon. Wikipedia counts “Summer Nights” as part of the six tracks instead of the acoustic version. Check Spotify for the definitive order.
The Story Behind “Coffee Shop”
Heath wrote “Coffee Shop” in 2023 while spending time with a friend and playing video games. That origin is typical of his approach: songs built from ordinary moments rather than big concepts. He later performed his songs on Unang Hirit and It’s Showtime.
Heath Wave and Heath’s Time: Concerts and Fan Events
His first fan convention, Heath Wave: The Ultimate Fan Jam, was held on April 19, 2026 at the SM North EDSA Skydome, and tickets sold out hours before show time. The event included taekwondo, boxing, and arnis demonstrations alongside the music.
His first solo concert followed. “Heath’s Time” was moved from July 19 to Saturday, September 5, 2026, at the New Frontier Theater, and the organizers gave no reason for the change. The show was billed as a celebration of his growth through live music, personal stories, and special collaborations.
Does Heath Jornales Have a Girlfriend? The CapHeath Question
There is no publicly confirmed girlfriend. The name that comes up most is Caprice Cayetano, but “CapHeath” (also written CapEath) is a fan name for their on-screen and PBB tandem, not an announced relationship.
Heath has spoken with respect about Caprice, supported her wish to pursue her career independently, and said he stays open to solo projects or future collaborations. The same coverage notes that Caprice thinks of him as a “little brother.”
His father has said that he and his wife are fans of CapEath because they look cute together, but that is support for a screen pairing, not confirmation of a romance. Heath is 17, so treating fan pairings as fact would be unfair to him. This article will be updated only if he confirms something himself.
Heath Jornales Height: What Is Confirmed
No reliable source gives Heath’s height. Sparkle profiles, GMA features, and Wikipedia don’t list it, so any figure you see online, in centimeters or feet and inches, is a guess.
His father’s listed height (5 ft 7 in / 170 cm) is not his. A teenager’s height can also change within a single year, so any number from a past interview could already be outdated. The most reliable sources would be Sparkle’s official profile or a direct statement from Heath.
Is Heath Jornales Half Filipino?
No source supports that. Heath’s nationality is listed as Filipino, and both parents are described in Philippine entertainment coverage without any mention of mixed heritage.
The question likely comes from his surname. Spanish-style surnames are very common across the Philippines because of the colonial-era naming system, so a surname like Jornales says nothing about recent foreign ancestry.
Heath Jornales Net Worth: What Can and Cannot Be Said
No reputable outlet has published a net worth for Heath Jornales, and a figure for a 17-year-old with no disclosed earnings would be invented. So this article doesn’t give one.
What can be said is limited to documented professional activity: television roles, the Fujifilm Instax campaign, his EP release, and ticketed fan events. None of these come with public pay details. If a credible estimate is published later, it will be added with its source.

I could not verify an official TikTok, Facebook, X (Twitter), or YouTube account for him. Fan-made and parody accounts using his name are common for young Philippine celebrities, so link only to accounts that Sparkle or his verified Instagram points to, and check for the verification badge first.
