Beata Galloway is best known as the wife of NYU professor and podcaster Scott Galloway. Very little about her comes from her own mouth, and our research turned up no published interview with her.
That gap has been filled by dozens of copycat websites offering confident, contradictory detail about her age, birthplace and career.
This guide separates three things: what Scott has written himself, what news reports and public records confirm, and what appears only on unsourced blogs. Where sources disagree, the disagreement is shown rather than smoothed over.
Every important claim links to its source, and where nothing reliable exists, the article says so.
Key Takeaways
● Scott wrote in 2018 that he has been married twice and that the second marriage was the great one. He didn’t name his wife in that post.
● A 2020 news item names Beata as co-host of a Jed Foundation benefit at the couple’s Florida home, which is the clearest independent link between her and Scott.
● Her age is not confirmed. Published claims imply birth years anywhere from about 1975 to 1982.
● Her birthplace is disputed between Poland and Germany.
● A Florida company registry lists a Beata Galloway as manager of a rental-property LLC. The Goldman Sachs claim rests on secondary sources.
● No credible net worth figure exists for her.

Who Is Beata Galloway?
Beata Galloway is the second wife of Scott Galloway, the NYU Stern marketing professor who hosts Pivot and The Prof G Pod. Wikipedia describes her as a real estate developer, says they have two sons, and says the family has lived in London since 2022 (source).
She isn’t a public figure in the usual sense. She has no known media career, and her presence in search results comes almost entirely from her marriage. What exists about her independently is thin: a Florida business filing, a place among the chairs of a charity event, and a few lines in profiles of her husband.
That thinness is why she’s a good test case for careful sourcing. The rest of this article rests on a simple rule: a claim is stated as fact only if a source you can open supports it.
How This Article Grades Its Sources
Call it the source ladder. Each claim below is tagged by the highest rung it reaches:
● Scott’s own words. Signed posts on his newsletter, No Mercy / No Malice.
● Records and local reporting. State filings and news items that name her directly.
● Established outlets and reference works. The New York Times, The Times, Wikipedia. These are cited as reported, and Wikipedia is checked against its own footnotes.
● Aggregator blogs. Used only to show what is being claimed online, never as proof.
Where a detail sits only on rung 4, it is labeled unverified.
What Scott Galloway Has Said Himself
Scott has written about his marriage, his sons and his move abroad in his weekly newsletter, No Mercy / No Malice. Those posts are the closest thing to first-hand testimony about the household. Three of them matter here, and none of them names Beata.
| Post | Date | What it confirms | What it leaves out |
| “Cash & Denting the Universe” | May 2017 | A pool encounter at the Raleigh Hotel; his sons’ mother | Her name, job, age, birthplace |
| “I Do” | March 2018 | Two marriages | Both wives’ names |
| “All Ears” | June 2022 | A move to London | Who “we” includes, and why |
The 2017 Essay on Rejection
Most of this post is about Apple and the cost of college. Partway through, Scott turns to rejection, listing the schools, jobs and elections he lost, and then says the most important decision in life is who you have kids with, and that his sons’ mother is, on most dimensions, more impressive than he is.
He then describes a day at the Raleigh Hotel pool in South Beach, where he saw a woman he was drawn to and resolved to speak to her before leaving. The essay never says that woman became his wife, and it doesn’t name her.
The 2018 Marriage Post
Written the morning friends of his were getting married, this post gives light-hearted advice to husbands. Along the way, Scott says he has been married twice, calling the first marriage good, the second great, and saying the first ended because he wanted to be single.
That is the primary-source basis for calling Beata his second wife. Note the limit: the post says a second marriage exists but doesn’t say who it was to.
The 2022 Announcement
In June 2022 Scott wrote that he and his family were moving to London, and that leaving the house where his boys grew up was more emotional than he expected. He didn’t give a reason in the post. The New York Times later reported, according to Distractify’s summary, that the family was preparing to move from Florida and that he told the paper “We want our kids to experience a different culture.”
Several websites say Scott has retold his meeting with Beata on podcasts, and one cites the Learning Leader Show. I couldn’t retrieve a transcript, so that remains unverified.
How Beata and Scott Galloway Met
By Scott’s own account, they met at the Raleigh Hotel pool in South Beach, a neighborhood of Miami Beach. Many websites simply say “Miami,” but South Beach is the word in his essay.
He writes that the woman was sitting in a beach chair with another woman and a man, that he ordered a drink to steel himself, and that he felt approaching her was harder than pitching investors. Blogs often garble this into “she was with someone else.” His version is more specific and doesn’t say who the man was.
He draws a lesson from it for his students: “Serendipity is a function of courage.” He adds that the hotel’s name lives on in his family.
What Isn’t Known
Three things are missing from the record:
● Date. Scott gives none. One website guesses 1999 to 2002, and another says the late 1990s or early 2000s, but neither cites a source (Lebusque).
● Beata’s version. As far as our research found, she has never told the story publicly.
● A named link. Wikipedia says Scott met “his second wife, Beata Galloway” at the pool, but its footnote for that sentence is the 2017 essay. The essay names no one, so the identification rests on Wikipedia’s editors and on the other reporting covered in later sections.
None of this makes the story doubtful. It means the pool meeting is well documented as Scott’s story, and the identification with Beata is reasonable but assembled from several sources.
Beata Galloway’s Age: Why Sources Disagree
Beata Galloway’s exact age is not publicly confirmed. Published claims imply she was born anywhere between about 1975 and 1982, which would make her somewhere between her mid-40s and about 51 as of September 2026.
Here is what each source implies:
| Source | What it says | Implied birth year | Implied age (Sept 2026) |
| New York Times (Aug 2022), as relayed by Distractify | A 46-year-old property developer | ~1975–76 | ~50–51 |
| Wikipedia, citing The Times (Oct 2025) | 17 years Scott’s junior (Scott born Nov 3, 1964) | ~1981–82 | ~44–45 |
| Aggregator blogs, e.g. Lebusque | Born March 1979, 15 years younger than Scott | 1979 | 47 |
I couldn’t open the New York Times or The Times pieces, so the first two rows depend on how Distractify and Wikipedia report them.
A Quick Arithmetic Test
Any page that gives both a birth date and an age gap has to agree with itself. XPT Magazine doesn’t. It gives March 1979 as her birth date and also says Scott is 17 years her senior. March 1979 is about 14 years and 4 months after November 1964, so the two claims can’t both be right.
Lebusque’s “15 years” is a loose rounding of that same date. It isn’t a separate confirmation.
Why the March 1979 Date Deserves Caution
That date appears across dozens of aggregator sites, and none I found cites a birth record or a named source. I couldn’t find it in any outlet I was able to open. Repetition across copycat pages isn’t corroboration, because they may all trace back to one unsourced original.
At least one site is candid about this. Buzz Mega says her exact age is not public. That is the most accurate sentence on the topic among the competitors.
The best answer for readers is a range, with a note that any specific age is an unverified estimate. Exact birth dates of private individuals aren’t published here.
Where Beata Galloway Is From: Poland, Germany or Both
Her birthplace is disputed. Wikipedia says Poland, while the New York Times, as relayed by Distractify, calls her a property developer from Germany.
| Source | Says | Note |
| Wikipedia (Sept 2026 version) | Real estate developer born in Poland | Its footnote points to Scott’s 2017 essay, which names no birthplace |
| NYT (Aug 2022), via Distractify | Germany | Secondhand; NYT not accessible |
| MarkMeets | Germany | Secondary blog |
| Fact News | Poland, possibly Germany | Secondary blog |
| A summary of The Times’ 2025 piece | Germany | Snippet only; page blocked |
Can Both Be True?
Possibly. Many blogs say she was born in Poland and spent early years in Germany. That would reconcile the reports, but I found no source that establishes it. It looks like a guess made to smooth over the conflict.
At least one competitor handles this well, advising that it is safer to say European-born than to treat a single country as established. That is the only description all sources are compatible with, and it’s the one used here.
Early Life and Education
Nothing verifiable is published about her schooling, degrees or upbringing. Several sites fill the gap with speculation, and at least one admits it, saying it is “reasonable to infer” a cosmopolitan background but that this remains speculative. Statements about her values or childhood discipline in these articles are inference, not reporting.
Beata Galloway’s Career: What Records Show
Nothing here comes from Beata herself. What follows is graded by source.
Confirmed by Public Record: A Florida LLC
A Florida limited liability company, Ocean Ridge Rentals, LLC, was filed on November 28, 2012. State registry excerpts list Beata Galloway as manager, with a principal address in Delray Beach, Florida, and show the filing as active as of a January 2026 update. This is the single piece of her career backed by a document I could view directly, though it confirms only a name match on a state filing, not her personal involvement in day-to-day operations.
A related excerpt also shows a Beata Galloway holding an active Florida real estate sales associate license, tied to a Boca Raton brokerage, with the license first issued in 2013. I could not independently verify this record beyond the search snippet.
Reported, Not Independently Confirmed: Goldman Sachs
Many competitor sites say she worked in Foreign Exchange Asset Sales at Goldman Sachs in New York before moving into real estate. This detail is repeated almost word-for-word across a dozen aggregator pages, which suggests they’re copying one another rather than independently reporting it. I could not find it in Wikipedia, in any outlet I was able to open, or in anything Scott has written. It is treated here as a widely repeated but unverified claim, not as fact.
What “Real Estate Developer” Actually Means Here
Wikipedia’s description, real estate developer, is the most measured of the labels in circulation. Some blogs upgrade this to “commercial real estate developer” or invent a specialty in “sustainable urban renewal and affordable housing.” I found no project, filing or news item connecting her to development work of that kind. The verifiable record points to a rental-property LLC, which is a narrower claim than “developer” implies.
Marriage and Scott Galloway’s Earlier Marriage
Scott has confirmed, in his own words, that he has been married twice, and separately that his sons’ mother is not his first wife. Wikipedia states plainly that Beata is his second wife.
The First Marriage
Scott has said little about it. In his 2018 post he wrote that his first marriage was good, not bad, and ended because he wanted to be single. A separate account attributed to him elsewhere adds that the marriage ran from his early twenties to his mid-thirties, that his first wife’s name was Margaret, and that she later remarried and had a child of her own. I could not verify this account against a source I could open myself, so it is noted as reported rather than confirmed. Competing blog claims that his first wife was named “Anne” appear to be guesses; I found nothing supporting that name.
The Marriage to Beata
The commonly cited date is 2007, in New York City. I could not find that date in any source I was able to open directly; it appears to trace back to secondary blog reporting rather than a marriage record or a statement from Scott.
An “18 Years and Counting” Claim, Checked
One site describes the marriage as “18 years and counting” as of 2026, which would place the wedding around 2007–2008. That’s arithmetically consistent with the commonly cited year, but consistency between two unsourced claims isn’t the same as confirmation of either one.
Beata Galloway’s Children and Family Privacy
Wikipedia states that Scott and Beata have two sons, citing an October 2025 Times profile. This is the most solid sourcing available for the fact of two children, though I could not open the Times piece directly.
Numerous blogs go further, offering the boys’ names, birth years, and current ages, and at least two sites claim to publish an eldest son’s name based on Scott’s tweets. Because these are minors, this article does not repeat names, ages, birth years or school details, even where a source claims to have them, in keeping with the family’s own evident preference for privacy and with this outlet’s practice around children’s identifying information.
What is fair to say, on the strength of Scott’s own writing: he has described becoming a father as one of the most meaningful parts of his life, and his essays return often to fatherhood, discipline and what he wants his sons to learn, without naming them or giving identifying detail.
From Florida to London
Scott confirmed the move himself. In his June 2022 newsletter post, he wrote that his family was moving to London, and that leaving the house where his boys grew up was harder than he expected. He gave no reason in that post.
The New York Times, as relayed by Distractify, later reported that the family was preparing to move from Florida, and quoted Scott saying they wanted their kids to experience a different culture. Wikipedia separately states the family has resided in London since 2022.
Before London, the household is well documented as based in Gulf Stream, Florida, a small coastal town in Palm Beach County: that’s the address tied to the Ocean Ridge Rentals filing and to the Jed Foundation benefit described next.
Philanthropy and the Jed Foundation
This is the best-documented independent appearance of Beata Galloway’s name outside of profiles of her husband. A February 2020 item in Palm Beach Florida Weekly reports that the Jed Foundation, a nonprofit focused on youth mental health and suicide prevention, was hosting its second annual South Florida benefit on April 11 at the home of Scott and Beata Galloway in Gulf Stream, and names Beata Galloway among the event’s chairs.
Separately, Scott was honored with the Jed Foundation’s Champion of Mental Health Award at its fifth annual Florida gala in October 2024, where he spoke about the toll it takes on a family “when something comes off the tracks with one of our kids.”
Multiple blogs also describe a December 2021 fundraiser at the Galloways’ Florida home that reportedly raised $500,000 for the Jed Foundation. I could not locate a news item or a Jed Foundation page confirming that specific event or figure, so it’s noted here as a repeated but unconfirmed claim.
If this topic feels personal, it’s worth knowing that support is available: the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline can be reached by call, text or chat at 988 for a free, confidential conversation.
Beata Galloway’s Net Worth
No reputable source publishes a net worth figure for Beata Galloway specifically, and this article doesn’t estimate one.
Several competitor sites list a figure of $1 million to $5 million, attributed to her “independent wealth” from her real estate work. None cites a source for that range, and at least one that repeats it admits in the same breath that no official figure exists — which is a signal the number was invented to fill a template field, not researched.
Scott’s own net worth is more discussed publicly, and even there, estimates vary. Celebrity Net Worth puts it at $40 million. Reporting relayed by Fortune describes a range of $40 million to $100 million, citing TheStreet. A separate site claims Scott confirmed a $100 million figure himself in a 2025 podcast; I could not verify that claim against a source I could open. Because these figures disagree by as much as $60 million, they’re presented here as a range from named sources, not a single number.
Claim Check: What Other Websites Say vs. What Sources Show
| Claim across competitor sites | What sources actually show |
| “Beata Galloway is a Polish-born real estate developer” | Wikipedia says Poland; the NYT (via Distractify) says Germany. Disputed, not settled. |
| “Born March 1979, 15 years younger than Scott” | The math doesn’t hold; that gap would make her 14 years, not 15, younger. Unverified regardless. |
| “17 years younger than Scott” (Wikipedia) | Sourced to The Times (2025), which couldn’t be opened directly. Reported, not independently confirmed. |
| “Former Goldman Sachs FX Asset Sales professional” | Repeated across many blogs in near-identical wording; no primary source found. |
| “Manages Ocean Ridge Rentals, LLC in Florida” | Backed by a state filing listing a Beata Galloway as manager. The strongest career claim available. |
| “Married in 2007 in New York City” | Commonly repeated; no primary source located. |
| “Sons born 2008 and 2011, named and ages given” | Wikipedia confirms two sons via a 2025 Times profile; this article withholds names and ages as the children are minors. |
| “Net worth of $1–5 million” | No source cited anywhere it appears; likely invented. |
| “Hosted a $500,000 Jed Foundation fundraiser in Dec 2021” | Unconfirmed. A separate, verifiable Jed Foundation benefit at the Galloways’ home is documented for April 2020. |
| “Beata Galloway has never given an interview” | Consistent with everything found in this research — no interview, byline, or on-record quote from her turned up anywhere. |
FAQ’s
Is Beata Galloway a real person separate from Scott Galloway’s public image?
Yes. Beyond her marriage, the clearest independent trace of her is a Florida LLC filing naming her as manager and a 2020 news item naming her as a co-chair of a charitable event at her home.
How old is Beata Galloway?
Not publicly confirmed. Depending on the source, she was born somewhere between the mid-1970s and the early 1980s, making her somewhere in her mid-40s to around 50 as of 2026.
Where was Beata Galloway born?
Sources disagree. Wikipedia says Poland; a New York Times profile, as relayed by a secondary source, describes her as from Germany. No source could be verified that resolves the conflict.
Did Beata Galloway work at Goldman Sachs?
It’s a widely repeated claim online, but no primary source confirms it, and it doesn’t appear in Wikipedia or in anything Scott has written.
What does Beata Galloway do for work?
The best-documented detail is her role as manager of a Florida rental-property LLC filed in 2012. “Real estate developer” is Wikipedia’s description; some competitor claims about her specialty area go further than any source supports.
How did Beata and Scott Galloway meet?
Scott has written that they met at the pool of the Raleigh Hotel in Miami’s South Beach, where he decided to introduce himself before leaving. He tells the story in detail in his own words; Beata has not given her own account publicly, as far as this research found.
When did Beata and Scott Galloway get married, and is this Scott’s first marriage?
It’s his second. He has confirmed being married twice; the commonly cited wedding date for his marriage to Beata, 2007 in New York City, could not be verified against a primary source.
Do Beata and Scott Galloway have children?
Yes, two sons, according to Wikipedia’s citation of a 2025 Times profile. This article doesn’t publish their names or ages, as they are minors.
Where does Beata Galloway live now?
London, since 2022, according to Scott’s own newsletter announcement and later reporting.
What is Beata Galloway’s net worth?
No reputable source publishes a figure for her specifically. Numbers circulating online (commonly $1–5 million) appear uncited and are not treated as fact here.
Conclusion
The honest picture of Beata Galloway is a short one: a name attached to a Florida company filing, a co-chair credit at a 2020 charity event, and a husband who writes often about marriage and fatherhood without naming her. Almost everything more specific than that — her age, her birthplace, her career history, her wedding date — comes from websites that don’t cite where they got it, and several of those claims contradict each other or don’t hold up to basic arithmetic. That gap between what’s actually documented and what gets repeated as fact is worth knowing, whether the interest is in Beata Galloway herself or in how deliberately private a public figure’s spouse can remain.
